Nagaon, 31 May (HS): A youth's death in Assam's Nagaon district has triggered widespread concern and tension on Sunday, with the victim’s family alleging that he was murdered by his girlfriend’s family.

According to reports, the deceased, identified as Rinku Das, had reportedly gone to visit his girlfriend at her residence on Saturday. However, instead of returning home safely, he was brought back as a dead body, leading to shock and outrage among relatives and local residents.

Family members of the deceased have alleged that Rinku was deliberately and systematically killed by his girlfriend’s family. They have demanded a thorough investigation into the incident and strict action against those responsible.
