Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday extended greetings to the people of Goa on the occasion of Goa Statehood Day. He said that Goa is famous across the country and the world for its vibrant culture, rich heritage, natural beauty, and warm-hearted people.

The Prime Minister said on the social media platform X that this day is also an opportunity to remember with gratitude all those who have worked tirelessly for Goa's identity and progress. He said that Goa should continue to progress steadily and play an important role in building a developed India.

The Prime Minister also wished the people of Goa excellent health, well-being, prosperity, and a bright future.

In another post, the Prime Minister extended greetings in Goa's mother tongue as well. He said, Happy Goa Statehood Day to all. He appreciated Goa's culture, heritage, and everyday life, and also prayed for the state's development and prosperity.
