New Delhi, May 22 (H.S.): Narendra Modi will distribute appointment letters to more than 51,000 newly recruited candidates under the 19th edition of the Rozgar Mela on Saturday. The Prime Minister will join the event via video conferencing at 11:00 a.m. and will also address the youth on the occasion.

According to the Prime Minister's Office, the Rozgar Mela is a major initiative aligned with the Prime Minister’s commitment to giving the highest priority to employment generation. The initiative aims to accelerate the recruitment process in government services and create greater employment opportunities for young people.

The statement further noted that nearly 1.2 million appointment letters have already been distributed through 18 Rozgar Melas organised across the country so far.

The 19th Rozgar Mela will be held at 47 locations nationwide. Selected candidates from various parts of the country will receive appointments in several ministries and departments of the Government of India.

These include the Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Financial Services and the Department of Higher Education, among other departments.
