Bhubaneswar, 19 May (H.S.): Leader of Opposition and former Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed deep grief over the death of an Odisha youth in Russia following a drone attack reportedly linked to the Ukraine conflict.

In a social media post, Patnaik said he was saddened to learn about the death of A. Ramaya, a native of Ganjam district’s Chikiti area. He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members during the difficult time.

The BJD president also urged the state government to extend immediate assistance to ensure that the mortal remains of the deceased youth are brought back to his family at the earliest.
