
Bhubaneswar, 19 May (H.S.): The process of counting the valuables and ornaments stored inside the inner Ratna Bhandar of the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri will resume from today, the Srimandir administration informed.
According to the guidelines issued by the state government, the counting process will be carried out in phases. As per the official schedule, the inventory work will take place on May 19, 21, 23, 26, 28, 29 and 30.
The administration stated that the counting process will begin each day after the completion of the ‘Madhyahna Dhupa’ rituals. In view of security and administrative arrangements, devotees’ darshan from near the Bhitarkatha area will remain temporarily restricted during the process.
The Srimandir administration has appealed to devotees to cooperate and maintain discipline for the smooth conduct of the proceedings.
