New Delhi, 01 May (H.S.): Sunrisers Hyderabad have included young all-rounder RS Ambrish in place of injured fast bowler Shivam Mavi for the remainder of the IPL 2026 season.
The right-arm medium pacer Shivam Mavi has been ruled out of the entire season because of a groin injury, prompting the team to make the change. RS Ambrish was recently part of the Indian team that won the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2026. He was one of India’s joint-leading wicket-takers in the tournament with 11 wickets.
Ambrish, who bowls right-arm medium pace and bats left-handed, has been signed for Rs 30 lakh and will now join Pat Cummins’ team.
