Guwahati, 09 April (HS): Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma late Wednesday night launched a sharp attack on the Congress, alleging that its leaders are acting out of desperation and are pushing Pawan Khera towards jail through their own actions.

In a social media post, Sarma claimed that Congress leaders have released another set of “completely fabricated documents,” which, he said, had already been exposed by his team. He asserted that the situation has gone beyond politics and termed it as “outright deception.”

The Chief Minister further alleged that the Congress ecosystem has lost all sense of responsibility and is attempting to mislead the public. He expressed confidence that the people of Assam would deliver a fitting reply within hours and that the Congress leadership would pay the price for what he described as deceit.------------
