Nalbari (Assam), 08 April (HS): A powerful storm wreaked havoc across several areas including West Nalbari and Bajali, causing extensive damage and disrupting normal life in the region. The storm left a trail of destruction, severely affecting large parts of the area.

According to reports, more than a hundred houses were damaged or completely blown away by the strong winds. Many families have been rendered homeless as the storm destroyed homes and essential belongings.

Several people also sustained injuries during the incident. Local authorities and emergency services have been engaged in relief and rescue operations, while efforts are underway to assess the full extent of the damage and provide assistance to the affected families.-----------
