Lucknow, 7 April (HS): On World

Health Day (April 7, 2026), Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wished

the people a Healthy UP, Capable UP via enhanced health

infrastructure and preventative care. He noted key improvements such as fewer

incidences of encephalitis, more medical colleges, and the implementation of

free Ayushman health insurance. The message highlighted that a double

engine government is committed to provide high-quality, easily accessible

healthcare to all residents.

In a post on X, he

mentioned, “Hearty congratulations and best wishes to the people of the state

on World Health Day. The concept of a prosperous and strong nation is achieved

only when our mind, brain and body are healthy. Through numerous life-saving

and revolutionary schemes like PM-JAY and the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya

Janaushadhi Pariyojana, launched under the successful guidance of Respected

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi @narendramodi every citizen is receiving the

shield of health protection. Today, 'New India' is becoming healthy and

prosperous. Let us moderate our lifestyle and become the architects of the

achievement of 'Healthy India - Healthy Uttar Pradesh'.”
