
Lucknow, 7 April (HS): On World
Health Day (April 7, 2026), Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wished
the people a Healthy UP, Capable UP via enhanced health
infrastructure and preventative care. He noted key improvements such as fewer
incidences of encephalitis, more medical colleges, and the implementation of
free Ayushman health insurance. The message highlighted that a double
engine government is committed to provide high-quality, easily accessible
healthcare to all residents.
In a post on X, he
mentioned, “Hearty congratulations and best wishes to the people of the state
on World Health Day. The concept of a prosperous and strong nation is achieved
only when our mind, brain and body are healthy. Through numerous life-saving
and revolutionary schemes like PM-JAY and the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya
Janaushadhi Pariyojana, launched under the successful guidance of Respected
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi @narendramodi every citizen is receiving the
shield of health protection. Today, 'New India' is becoming healthy and
prosperous. Let us moderate our lifestyle and become the architects of the
achievement of 'Healthy India - Healthy Uttar Pradesh'.”
