New Delhi, 06 April (H.S.):
Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi accused the government of mishandling an LPG shortage crisis amid West Asia conflicts, claiming kitchen gas has become unaffordable for daily wage workers.
In a post on X, Rahul Gandhi likened the government's response to the COVID pandemic: zero policy, grand announcements, and the full burden on the poor. Earning ₹500-800 daily, migrant workers can't afford cylinders; they return home without fuel to cook, he said.
Rahul Gandhi warned that textile mills and factories—the backbone of labor—are collapsing under crisis. He blamed diplomatic failures for the mess, questioning why the poor suffer first in every calamity. This isn't just their fight—it's ours too.
