Barpeta, 06 April (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi unleashed a blistering critique of the Congress party during a massive election rally here today, accusing it of parroting Pakistan's narrative amid national security operations while championing BJP's vision for Assam's progress ahead of April 9 assembly polls.

Addressing thousands, PM Modi claimed Indian forces compelled Pakistan to surrender within hours during Operation Sindoor—launched post the April 22, 2025 Pahalgam attack by Lashkar-e-Taiba proxy TRF, targeting terror sites in PoK and Pakistan. Congress sang the song Pakistan wrote, composed, and loves, he alleged, contrasting decisive action under BJP with opposition's alleged soft stance.

PM Modi hammered Congress on illegal immigration,a flashpoint in Assam, charging it with shielding infiltrators and mulling laws to criminalize even calling them so. Should infiltrators be deported? Congress would jail indigenous people protecting their land, he said, positioning BJP as guardian of tribal rights and regional identity.

Announcing a special Parliament session from April 16 for the Women's Reservation Bill,PM Modi assured no state—Northeast or South—loses seats, with plans to expand total representation. Population control success won't penalize you, he emphasized, urging Assamese women to demand cross-party support.

PM Modi lauded BJP's decade long peace building in Assam versus Congress's short-term corruption. On BJP Foundation Day, he greeted workers with Nation First, vowing self-reliant India. Predicting BJP's third term, he foresaw Congress's century of defeats against BJP victories, citing rally turnout as voter mandate.
