Guwahati, 23 April (HS): A fresh affidavit was filed in court on Thursday by the counsel of the another prime accused Siddhartha Sharma in the Zubeen Garg murder case, after the hearing could not proceed on Wednesday due to submission of an incorrect affidavit.

The court has now scheduled the hearing on Sharma’s bail plea for Friday. The case is being heard in a fast-track court, where proceedings have been conducted over two days.

It may be noted that the court is also set to deliver its order on April 30 on the bail plea of the main accused, Shyamkanu Mahanta, in the same case.-----------
