Bhubaneswar, 17 April (H.S.) : Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has congratulated Harivansh Narayan Singh on his re-election as the Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha for a third consecutive term.

In a social media post, Pradhan lauded Harivansh’s journey from journalism to public life, describing it as an example of “quiet dignity, intellectual integrity, and unwavering commitment to parliamentary values.” He said Harivansh’s balanced and impartial conduct has strengthened the credibility of the Upper House and enhanced trust in democratic processes.

The Union Minister further stated that Harivansh’s presence in the Rajya Sabha is not only a matter of pride for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) but also a valuable asset for Indian democracy as a whole.
