Mumbai, 17 Apr (HS): The team of Enforcement Directorate

investigating into the fraud Godaman Ashok Kharat in Nashik, have seized some

documents from Kharat’s office on Friday. Members of the SIT enquiring into the

case were also present.

ED and SIT teams raided office, residence and many

other places simultaneously. Kharat Okas Properties Office, which was sealed by

SIT was opened. The ED officers searched for some documents for about four

hours as evidence against his illegal activities.

Earlier ED raided 11 places related to Kharat in

Nashik, Pune and Shirdi, including places of Kharat’s relatives and chartered

accountant.

A total of 14 cases of sexual abuse and cheating

have been registered against Kharat. ED registered an office against him on

April 6 relating to money laundering and are investigating.
