Nagpur, 16 Apr

(HS): Maharashtra State Minorities Commission President, Pyare Khan has

demanded stern action against those involved in sexual exploitation of women in

Achalpur-Paratwada are in Amravati District. In eight videos, which have

surfaced so far, all victims belong to Muslim community.

Pyare Khan said

that a complaint has been received by the Minorities Commission. A team of the

Commission is visiting Achalpur-Paratwada area and to gather further

information about the victims and enquiry into the cases. The Committee will

also enquire into the condition of the victims and role of local administration

in investigation and extending support to the victims. He has demanded

demolition of the accused Ayan’s property and seizure by the authorities

concerned.

The issue is

serious and against humanity. Khan has demanded hardest punishment to the

accused in the case.

Meanwhile,

police have arrested two persons in this connection. The main accused, Ayan, is

only 19 years and used to sexually exploit young women and his accomplice used

to shoot videos, many of which were made viral on social media.
