April 15 (HS): In view of the intense summer heat and with the objective of
providing relief and convenience to passengers, the North Central Railway
Bharat Scouts & Guides, Prayagraj, has launched a Summer Relief Drinking
Water Service Campaign at Prayagraj Junction and Subedarganj Station starting
from today. The initiative has been undertaken in the spirit of public service
under the guidance of the General Manager of North Central Railway Naresh Pal
Singh. The service was formally inaugurated at Subedarganj Station, Platform
No. 1 at 10:30 AM by Ayushi Bhatnagar, Vice President, North Central Railway
Bharat Scouts & Guides. Simultaneously, water service arrangements have
also been initiated at Prayagraj Junction to ensure wider passenger coverage.

The
successful execution of this campaign has been significantly supported by Noori
Siddiqui, District Training Commissioner (Guide), Prayagraj, who ensured
effective coordination of physical arrangements and administrative support.
Under her guidance, Scouts & Guides leaders and members have implemented
the service through a well-planned and systematic approach. Officials and staff
at both Prayagraj Junction and Subedarganj Station extended their active
cooperation in ensuring the smooth functioning of this public welfare
initiative.
Expansion
& Operational Plan: The Summer Relief Drinking Water Service Campaign will
continue for the next two months. Scouts & Guides units across Prayagraj
district will extend this service at major stations including Prayagraj,
Mirzapur, Subedarganj, Kanpur, Jhansi, Agra and Tundla, ensuring that maximum
passengers benefit from the initiative. This initiative reflects a strong
commitment to service, dedication, and social responsibility, further
strengthening North Central Railway’s focus on passenger care and public
service.
