Guwahati, 01 April (HS): Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi is set to intensify the Congress party’s election campaign in Assam with a one-day visit to the state on Thursday, during which he will address public rallies at Bokajan and Titabor.

The visit comes after senior Congress leaders, including Mallikarjun Kharge, Priyanka Gandhi, and DK Shivakumar, campaigned in the state to mobilize support ahead of the Assembly elections.

According to the schedule, Rahul Gandhi will depart from Delhi by a special flight in the morning and land at Dimapur Airport. He will then travel by helicopter to Bokajan in Karbi Anglong district, where he is expected to address a large public gathering.

Following the Bokajan rally, he will proceed to Titabor in Jorhat district to address another key public meeting in the afternoon, targeting voters in Upper Assam. At the end of the day’s program, Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to return to Delhi by a special flight from Jorhat.---------
