Nepal's Federal Parliament Secretariat has convened an all-party meeting today to prepare for the parliamentary session starting April 2.
Spokesperson Ekram Giri confirmed the meeting begins at 1:00 PM, inviting all political parties represented in Parliament.
President Ram Chandra Paudel summoned the joint session on March 30 per Cabinet recommendation—this marks the first session post-2026 House of Representatives elections. Discussions will cover key agenda including Speaker and Deputy Speaker elections. Currently, six nationally recognized parties hold seats in the House of Representatives.
