Guwahati, 01 April (HS): The tenth-year, fourth edition of BJP Assam’s official mouthpiece “Asomiya BJP Barta” was unveiled at the party’s state headquarters, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhawan, by Assam Financial Corporation Chairman and BJP Media Department Convener Rupam Goswami on Wednesday.
The program was attended by several party functionaries, including Sushanta Biswas, Dilip Das, Ashok Bharali and spokesperson Mominul Awal, among others. The publication features articles on governance, political developments, and the upcoming Assembly elections.
Highlighting BJP’s governance under Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Goswami said the state has witnessed significant economic growth and infrastructure expansion over the past decade. He also outlined achievements in education, healthcare and industrial development, along with initiatives such as land reclamation drives and peace accords with insurgent groups.
The BJP reiterated its commitment to further development and land reforms ahead of the 2026 Assembly elections, while also emphasizing welfare schemes like Orunodoi aimed at women’s empowerment.-----------
