California, 09 March (H.S.):

Pop icon Rihanna escaped unharmed after a barrage of gunfire targeted her opulent Beverly Hills mansion on Sunday afternoon, according to multiple law enforcement sources and police reports.

Los Angeles Police Department officers swiftly responded to the scene at approximately 1:15 p.m. local time following reports of multiple shots fired at the colonial-style residence in the exclusive Post Office neighborhood.

A 30-year-old woman, allegedly firing from a white Tesla parked across from the property's gate, unleashed around 10 rounds before fleeing south on Coldwater Canyon Drive; she was promptly apprehended.

One bullet pierced the mansion's exterior wall, striking a parked vehicle outside, but no rounds penetrated the interior, and miraculously, no injuries occurred despite Rihanna's presence inside.

Authorities have not disclosed a motive for the brazen attack, with the investigation remaining active as detectives scour evidence from the suspect's vehicle and the scene.

Rihanna, whose real name is Robyn Fenty, shares the home with rapper partner A$AP Rocky and their three young children—sons Riot and RZA, plus a daughter born last September—though it remains unclear if the family was present during the incident.

This alarming breach comes amid a tumultuous year for the Barbados-born superstar, who recently marked 20 years since her debut album and continues to dominate with ventures like Fenty Beauty, boasting a Forbes-estimated net worth exceeding $1 billion.

Just last February, A$AP Rocky was acquitted in a separate gun-related trial, where Rihanna appeared in court with their sons, underscoring the couple's high-profile navigation of personal and public scrutiny.
