buffer zone. Officials reported regular tiger activity and urged residents to
be vigilant. Pargat Singh was assaulted while traversing the sugarcane fields.
His corpse was discovered the next day. Villagers want for protective fence and
the tiger's capture.
A tiger
murdered a 50-year-old farmer in the Sampurnanagar forest region of the Dudhwa
buffer zone, according to government records issued on Sunday. On Friday, the
tiger attacked Pargat Singh while he was traversing his sugarcane fields. His
family, alarmed by his disappearance, discovered his nearly devoured body on
Saturday. Forest officials swiftly scheduled a postmortem examination in
accordance with practice.
Kirti
Chaudhary, Deputy Director of the Dudhwa buffer zone, emphasized recent tiger
sightings and asked villagers to remain vigilant. While recompense for Singh's
family is pending postmortem results, people are demanding swift fence and
trapping of the renegade animal to avert future disasters.
