New Delhi, 08 March (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi unleashed a blistering attack on the Trinamool Congress (TMC) government in West Bengal for purportedly insulting President Droupadi Murmu, prophesying the imminent collapse of their power-drunk hubris as the public would never forgive such perfidy.

Addressing a gathering in Burari on Sunday amid International Women’s Day celebrations, PM Modi shared profound anguish with Delhi residents and the nation, contrasting the country’s homage to women’s achievements with the TMC’s boycott of President Murmu’s attendance at a significant Santhal tribal festival in Bengal. He lambasted the state administration for disregarding event protocols, despite Murmu’s own Santhal heritage and lifelong advocacy for tribal welfare, deeming it not only a personal affront but a desecration of the Constitution and democratic ethos.

PM Modi asserted that such conduct wounds tribal sentiments, insults high-achieving women, and flouts India’s traditions of universal respect. “Our ethos teaches reverence for every individual and community; insulting any office-bearer contravenes democratic decorum,” he declared, invoking the adage that ego-laden power, however formidable, inevitably crumbles.

He predicted the TMC’s “dirty politics” would not endure, with West Bengal’s astute populace—and the nation, including its Nari Shakti—holding them eternally accountable.
