07 March (HS): Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said on Saturday that
the Samour Baba Festival is an important event that unites the region's faith,
culture, literature, and traditions. He said that such events strengthen the
cultural and literary environment in society and provide an opportunity for
youth to connect with Indian traditions.
The
Tourism Minister informed that a grand All India Kavi Sammelan will be
organised on Sunday during the seven-day Samaur Baba Mahotsav being organised
at the famous Samaur Baba Dham in village Karhara of Sirsaganj. State Energy
Minister AK Sharma and Social Welfare Minister Aseem Arun will participate in
it. He said that 'Samaur Baba Mahotsav is a symbol of our faith and cultural
heritage. Events like All India Kavi Sammelan bring together litterateurs and
audience on one platform. This sends a positive message in the society and
inspires the youth to connect with literature.' He appealed to the people of
the area to attend the programme in large numbers and said that this event is a
symbol of religious faith as well as cultural prosperity.
Humor
and heroism will resonate on the stage: At the Kavi Sammelan, renowned Padma Shri
awardee humorist Sunil Jogi will entertain the audience with his humorous and
satirical compositions. Renowned heroic poet Ram Bhadawar will inspire
patriotism with his powerful poetry recitations. Renowned poets including
Gaurav Chauhan, Padmini Sharma, Yogita Chauhan, Hemant Pandey, and Mukesh
Manikchan will also present their poetry.
Excitement
about the poetry conference: There is considerable enthusiasm among literary
lovers and visitors to the region for the Kavi Sammelan. The Samour Baba Dham
complex has been specially decorated for the event. A large number of people
are expected to attend the Kavi Sammelan. According to the organizers, this
Kavi Sammelan will be a major attraction of the festival.
