New Delhi, 07 March (H.S.): Nationalist Congress Party (SCP) legislator Rohit Pawar asserted that political conspiracy cannot be ruled out in the plane crash that killed Ajit Pawar, urging a thorough and impartial investigation into the matter. On Saturday, Pawar met Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh here, highlighting concerns raised by Air India pilots and their union.
He accused Maharashtra authorities of denying justice, noting police reluctance to file an FIR and the CID probe's sluggish pace, emphasizing that ensuring justice for Ajit Dada requires a criminal inquiry to determine if it was an accident or a plot.
Pawar revealed plans to raise the issue in the parliamentary session starting March 9, seeking support from Maharashtra MPs and INDIA alliance leaders. Kejriwal assured backing after grasping the details, while Pawar plans meetings with Rahul Gandhi and other opposition heavyweights in the coming days; Sanjay Singh pledged to voice the matter in Rajya Sabha to secure justice.
