New Delhi, 07 March (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi affirmed on Saturday that India stands fully committed to collaborating with Nepal's people and its new government as a close friend and neighbor.In a message posted on the social media platform X, the Prime Minister extended heartfelt congratulations to the people and government of Nepal for the successful and peaceful conduct of their parliamentary elections.

He expressed delight at witnessing Nepali brothers and sisters exercising their democratic rights with such enthusiasm and vibrancy. Describing it as a historic milestone, he called it a proud moment in Nepal's democratic journey.

As a close friend and neighbor, Prime Minister Modi reiterated India's dedication to working alongside Nepal's populace and the incoming administration to forge new horizons in peace, progress, and prosperity. He emphasized that the bonds of friendship and cooperation between India and Nepal will grow even stronger in the times ahead.
