Etah, 04 March

(HS): A father and his seven-year-old kid were killed on Wednesday after their

motorbike went into a canal near Bagwala authorities Station, according to

authorities. The collision occurred at 3 a.m. on the Etah-Ganjdundwara route

near a canal, according to officials. Kartika Singh, Circle Officer (City),

named the victims as Dambar Singh, 25, and his son Umang, both of Jamalpur

village.

The two were returning to their village from

Faridabad to celebrate Holi with their family, and they had decided to ride a

motorbike owing to the crowd on buses. As they approached the canal in the

Bagwala neighborhood, the two-wheeler apparently collided with the divider,

throwing both into the canal, according to the CO. The police were notified of

the collision, and they transported the two to a medical college for treatment,

where physicians confirmed them dead. The preliminary investigation reveals

that speeding was the cause of the collision.
