New Delhi, 30 March (H.S.):

The Patiala House Court sent Lashkar-e-Taiba suspect Shabir Ahmad Lone arrested late Sunday by Delhi Police Special Cell from Ghazipur in the metro poster case to five days police custody on Monday.

The Special Cell sought the remand recovering 2300 Bangladeshi taka 500 Pakistani rupees and a Nepali SIM card from Lone who they say handled a module busted February 15 and 21 with seven Bangladeshi nationals and one Malda resident nabbed.

The cell alleges the group scouted religious commercial hubs and crowded spots for terror activities triggered by anti-India posters pasted near Delhi metro stations.
