Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi expressed grave concern over rising tensions between the US, Israel, and Iran, warning that the crisis is pushing the region towards a major conflict affecting millions, including nearly one crore Indians facing insecurity and uncertainty.

In a post on X, Gandhi condemned sovereignty-violating attacks by both US-Israel on Iran and Iran's strikes on Middle Eastern nations, stating violence only begets more violence—peace lies solely through dialogue and restraint.

Calls for India's Moral Clarity

Gandhi emphasised India must speak boldly in defence of international law and human life, rooted in its foreign policy of sovereignty and peaceful dispute resolution. He cautioned that silence now undermines India's global credibility.
