Lucknow/Noida,

28 March (HS): Uttar Pradesh BJP president Pankaj Chaudhary lauded the

inauguration of the Noida International Airport on Saturday, saying the state

has emerged as a new identity of growth, trust, and worldwide prospects under

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. In the presence of Chief Minister

Yogi Adityanath and numerous top dignitaries, Modi opened the airport's first

phase, which cost roughly Rs 11,200 crore.

According

to a statement issued by the BJP headquarters, Chaudhary, who is also the Union

Minister of State for Finance, stated that the inauguration of the Jewar

International Airport was more than just the start of an infrastructure

project; it was a historic moment that would elevate the future of western

Uttar Pradesh, the state's economy, and the vision of a developed India.

This

airport is a real proof of the prime minister's innovative thinking, strong

leadership, and determination to make Uttar Pradesh one of the most developed

states in the country, he added. Chaudhary stated that the Noida International

Airport will create new opportunities for industry, commerce, tourism, exports,

logistics, investment, and employment throughout the state, notably in Gautam

Buddh Nagar, Noida, Greater Noida, and the Yamuna Expressway area. He stated

that the initiative will provide jobs for thousands of young people, connect

farmers to markets, give new trading facilities, and make Uttar Pradesh more

appealing to investors. Highlighting continuing infrastructure development, he

stated that projects including as quick rail, metro networks, expressways, and

the almost completed Ganga Expressway are jointly establishing a new growth

framework in western Uttar Pradesh.

The BJP

government is determined to make Uttar Pradesh a national example for growth,

modernization, self-sufficiency, and good governance. Jewar International

Airport is a watershed moment in that transforming path, he continued. Awanish

Awasthi, the chief minister's adviser and a former bureaucrat, stated that the

airport will significantly alter the region. He stated that during Chief

Minister Adityanath's recent travels to Singapore and Japan, investors

expressed strong interest in the region, and that development in and around the

airport area is moving quickly. This will be a key hub. He stated that

investment will create jobs, eliminating the need for locals to relocate

abroad.

Arun Vir

Singh, former CEO of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority and

retired IAS official, stated that the project was Modi and Adityanath's idea,

and it was up to local authorities to make it a reality. We are all quite proud

right now, he added, adding that the airport is remarkable since it is being

built entirely with foreign direct investment. Singh

formerly worked as the CEO of Noida International Airport Limited, the

project's implementing agency. Mahesh Sharma, MP for Gautam Buddh Nagar, stated

that the occasion was a source of pride for the region's residents. The fantasy

we glimpsed has become a reality. Modi ji fulfills his promises, he stated.
