Mumbai, 25 Mar (HS): The budget session of the

Maharashtra Legislature prorogued on Wednesday. The Monsoon session will

commence on June 22.

During the budget session 20 sittings were held, and

proceedings conducted for 197.27 hours, at an average of 9.50 hours per

sitting. A total of 9,360 questions were

received, out of which 571 were accepted. Replies to 105 were given during the

question hours.
