Bahraich,
25 March (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath distributed Chief Minister's
Houses, toilets, and land leases to 136 beneficiary families in Bahraich
district on Wednesday. He said that these families should have received all
this earlier, but the country has continuously suffered the consequences of the
irreparable damage caused by those who divide the country in the name of caste
since independence. But now, under Modi's leadership, work is underway in the
form of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.
Yogi
Adityanath was addressing the displaced families of Bharthapur in Semrahna,
Bahraich district, today. He said that the 500 members of 136 families who were
neglected by previous governments are now being given a new life. Now, no poor,
Dalit, backward, or tribal family will be neglected. Sharply attacking
opposition parties, he said that those who talk about the PDA should be asked:
Could Munnalal Maurya not have been a part of it? Couldn't the Yadavs of
Bharthapur have been a part of it? Couldn't the Dalits here have been a part of
it? Shouldn't the tribal Tharu community here have been given this right? He
said that if efforts had been made earlier, like the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat
initiative under Prime Minister Modi's leadership, these poor and deprived
people would have received facilities and their rehabilitation would have been
completed long ago.
Chief
Minister Yogi said that after the Kaudiyaala Saryu River disaster, when he saw
the condition of the village, he found that the people were living in unsafe
conditions in the forest. There was the fear of tigers, elephants, and
leopards, and on the other hand, there was the danger of crocodiles and snakes
in the river. There was no road, no electricity, and no permanent houses. He
directed the administration to ensure that this new colony being built was
named Bharatpur. The name should now be Bharatpur, and the Gram Panchayat
should remain the same, but the name should remain Bharatpur because Bharatji
was ruling Ayodhya at the time when Lord Ram returned to Ayodhya after 14 years
of exile, a day before Lord Ram's birthday. He set an example of love between
brothers.
Before
2017, there was an identity crisis: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, in a
scathing attack on the opposition, said that before 2017, Uttar Pradesh faced a
mafia crisis, a gangster crisis, and rioters crisis, and the perception about
the state was that it lacked development. Rioters were even encouraged here in
the name of caste.
People who
divide on the basis of caste used to give shelter to rioters: He said that
Navratri is currently underway. This year, Ram Navami will be celebrated with
great pomp on March 26 and 27. Before 2017, there was silence because people
were worried about the possibility of riots. Those who opposed the Ram Temple
before 2017 also gave shelter to rioters, and these same people looted the
state, but they did not care about the poor. While in power, these leaders had
no sympathy for the poor. They never made any effort to awaken their sympathy
for the oppressed and deprived Yadavs, Maurya and Kushwaha castes, tribal and
Dalit communities, or to ensure that they also received the benefits of the
schemes. In addition to BJP officials, local administration officials were also
present at the event.
