He recited: Singhāsanagatā nityaṃ padmāśritakaradvayā. Shubhadāstu sadā devī skandamātā yashasvinī.

Meaning: May the glorious Devi Skandamata – ever seated on the lion throne, holding lotuses in both hands – always bestow auspiciousness upon us.
