22 March (HS): On

the fourth day of the ongoing Navratri festival at Maa Kalyani Devi Temple

Dham, at 5 am in the morning, General Secretary Shyam Ji Pathak invoked Maa

Kushmanda Devi by performing Mangala Aarti and worship of Mata Kalyani as per

the rituals and a huge crowd of devotees remained in queue from morning till

midnight to get the darshan of Maa Kalyani Devi in her Kushmanda form.

And after getting the darshan of the unique adornment of the mother, they were

blessed and kept on loudly chanting the praises of the mother. On this

occasion, a large number of women devotees sang hymns and praised the mother

and offered their oblations in the Shatchandi Mahayagna and prayed for welfare

while circumambulating the yagnashala. And the Maha Aarti of the mother was

performed at 7 pm and Shayan Aarti at 12 midnight was done by President Sushil

Kumar Pathak. During this, he said that on Monday, 21 March, Panchami, the

adornment of Goddess Kalyani in the form of Skanda Mata will be shown. Mother

will be riding a lion and will have four arms. And Shadanan ji will be seated

in her lap. Mother's adornment will be done with pearl ornaments and jasmine

and rose flowers and the sanctum sanctorum of the mother will be decorated with

many types of flower bouquets.

On

this occasion, on the fourth day of Shri Ram Katha being organized by Shri

Navsamvatsar Manas Samiti under Maa Kalyan Devi Temple, devotees were given the

taste of the Katha.

Narrator Dr Aniruddha Ji Maharaj said that ego eats away the virtues of a man,

the proof of which has been mentioned by Goswami Tulsidas Ji in his Lanka Kand.

While narrating the story, Dr Aniruddha said that Kumbhakarna told Ravana about

devotion and knowledge but Ravana did not listen. Then Kumbhakarna agreed to go

to war for the sake of his brother's self-respect and created havoc in the Ram

army. Ultimately, he was killed by Lord Shri Ram. The story was conducted by

spokesperson Omkar Nath Tripathi. On this occasion, President, former MLA Uday

Bhan Karawaria, Anil Kumar Pathak, Rajesh Kesarwani, Krishna Kumar Pathak, Raju

Yadav, Kunwar Ji Tandon, along with the devotees, listened to the story and

performed aarti.
