Ayodhya, 22 March (HS): Following
the flag-raising ceremony at the Ram temple's main spire and other primary
temples in the Ram Janmabhoomi complex, preparations for similar rituals at the
six remaining sub-temples have begun, according to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi
Teerth Kshetra Trust. After a meeting on Saturday, Trust General Secretary
Champat Rai said that the temples where flags will be hoisted are devoted to
Surya, Bhagwati, Shivling, Ganpati, Sheshavatar, and Hanuman. Rai stated that
the flag hoisting ceremony for the Hanuman temple will take place on Hanuman
Jayanti, which is April 2 this year. He noted that the rituals for the
remaining five subtemples will take place in stages over eight days, on March
22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30, and 31.
He
emphasized that these activities will take place without massive public crowds,
with only a few people in attendance. Each event will feature around 50 seers
and about 200 guests, including project engineers and laborers. The trust
further mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi first hoisted the flag atop
the main spire on November 25, 2025.
