Guwahati, 20 March (HS): Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will actively campaign in the state ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.

Speaking to the media after filing his nomination papers, the Chief Minister stated that the Prime Minister is expected to address at least four election rallies in Assam. Meanwhile, Amit Shah will campaign extensively, addressing around six to seven public meetings across the state.
