New Delhi, 20 March (H.S.): Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday for a courtesy call, marking his first such interaction since assuming office.The Prime Minister's Office shared details of the meeting on the social media platform X, noting that Lt Governor Saxena called on the Prime Minister.

Earlier, Lt Governor Saxena had met Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnaw at his residence.

In a post on X, Saxena revealed that the discussions covered various critical issues pertaining to Delhi.Notably, Vinay Kumar Saxena took oath as the 23rd Lieutenant Governor of Delhi at Raj Nivas on March 11.
