March (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath greeted the Sindhi
people on the auspicious birth anniversary (Cheti Chand) of Lord Jhulelal.He
wished the state's citizens pleasure, prosperity, and peace and described the
event as a sign of love, compassion, harmony, and social solidarity.
On March
20, 2026, the Sindhi community is celebrating Lord Jhulelal's birth anniversary
with considerable fanfare. Using his Facebook and other social media accounts,
CM Yogi sent out a congratulations greeting. This celebration, which is also
referred to as Sindhi New Year, promotes harmony among the community and the
triumph of good over evil.
In a post
on X, he stated, “Hearty congratulations and best wishes to the people of the
state and all the devotees on the auspicious Cheti Chand festival (Bhagwan
Jhulelal Jayanti) which gives the immortal message of love, compassion and
harmony. The divine teachings of Bhagwan Jhulelal, the revered deity of Sindhi
community and the symbol of humanity, truth and harmony, inspire us to
continuously move forward on the path of service, virtue and mutual harmony.
May this holy festival further strengthen the spirit of love, brotherhood and
national unity in the society and may happiness, peace and prosperity be spread
in everyone's life, this is our best wishes.”
