Bhubaneswar, 19 March (H.S.): The Higher Education Department has extended the deadline for submitting applications for the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET) till March 22, providing students additional time to apply.
As per the revised schedule, interested candidates can complete and submit their application forms through the SAMS portal by 11:45 PM on March 22. The earlier deadline was March 18.
Officials said the decision was taken keeping in view the larger interest of students and to ensure that more candidates get the opportunity to apply.
The CPET is mandatory for admission to postgraduate courses for the 2026–27 academic session. Admissions will be granted based on the marks secured in the entrance examination.
Students seeking admission to PG courses across the state can apply online through the SAMS portal within the extended deadline.
