honors national luminaries, founders, and independence fighters, highlighting

their contributions to cultural nationalism and national cohesion.

Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, has frequently complimented

Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, the founder of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh

(RSS), emphasizing his goal for nation-building and scientific viewpoint. Dr.

Hedgewar was a visionary who contributed to the nation's progress, according to

Adityanath. The philosophy embodied by Yogi Adityanath and the BJP is regarded

as being guided by the life and principles of Dr. Hedgewar. In 2022, Yogi Adityanath

said that because Dr. Hedgewar, the RSS's founder, was medical practitioner with

a training in science, the organization has always maintained a scientific

attitude and vision.

He penned

a post on X, which reads as follows: “Tributes to the immortal son of Mother

India, the founder and first Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh,

and the great national servant Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar on his birth

anniversary. His disciplined, dedicated, and sage-like life continues to

inspire us all to work tirelessly with the spirit of Nation First.
