between UP Education Service Selection Commission & SBI

easy collection of registration fees via 'e-pay' gateway, free service for

March (HS): MoU signed between the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection
Commission and the State Bank of India on Thursday. The agreement was signed at
the commission's office in Alanganj on the first day of Chaitra Navratri. Under
this agreement, State Bank of India will provide the Commission with advanced
digital payment solutions. The Bank has successfully integrated a payment
gateway service called e-Pay, which will enable faster, more
convenient, and secure collection of registration fees for candidates applying
for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET)-2026. Notably, this service is being
made available free of charge to candidates, eliminating any additional costs.
The
agreement was signed at the ceremony by Manoj Kumar, Secretary of the
Commission, and Pawan Kumar Arora, Deputy General Manager, representing the
Bank. The MoU was then formally exchanged by Dr. Prashant Kumar, Chairman of
the Commission, and Deepak Kumar Dey, Chief General Manager (Lucknow Circle).
General Manager Rajiv Kumar and Assistant General Manager Swadesh Srivastava,
along with other officials, were present on the occasion.
Chief
Manager Garima Srivastava and Branch Manager Rajesh Kumar Sahu (Karnalganj)
played the main role in coordinating the MoU. Chairman Dr. Prashant Kumar
stated that this partnership is an important initiative toward providing a
transparent, secure, and efficient payment system to candidates. This will
further simplify the application process and promote digital transactions. All
Commission officials and other senior bank officials were also present at the
event.
