Beed, 14 Mar (HS): A girl student was attacked in

the examination hall, when she was writing the SSC examination paper. The

incident occurred at an examination centre in Doithane in Ashti Tehsil of Beed

District.

A young boy from Desur village entered the examination

hall and attacked the girl student, which has shocked other examinee students.

The boy fled the site immediately after beating the girl student. The school administration

informed the girl’s parents. The parents of the students seeking explanation

from the school authorities as to how the boy was allowed in the examination

centre.

The parents of the girl student informed the police

about the incident. Police are investigating further. The issue of security of

the students, particularly girl students, is being discussed.
