New Delhi, 12 March (H.S.): India dismissed Pakistan's objections to its uranium supply agreement with Canada, asserting Islamabad's proliferation history disqualifies it from lecturing on export controls or risks.MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, at the weekly briefing, rejected the remarks outright: India's non-proliferation credentials are impeccable, recognized globally. A nation with proven clandestine proliferation cannot credibly sermonize—such statements merely distract from its dismal record.

Pakistan had voiced concerns the pact enables India's arsenal expansion, undermining global regimes.
