Nadia, 01 March (H.S.): Former BJP national president and Union Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda on Sunday levelled serious allegations against West Bengal's ruling party, the Trinamool Congress, saying the state is being systematically turned into a hub of infiltrators. He claimed that this policy could lead to the indigenous people of Bengal becoming a minority in the future.

Nadda was addressing a public meeting in Krishnanagar as part of the BJP's Parivartan Yatra. He said the Trinamool government's appeasement politics has seriously damaged the state's social structure and law and order. While infiltrators receive protection, the safety of ordinary citizens—especially mothers and sisters—is ignored, Nadda alleged.

The BJP president also said that administrative laxity and political patronage have fueled the infiltration issue, affecting the rights and resources of local people. He reiterated his accusations of corruption and law and order failures against the Trinamool Congress, saying there is an atmosphere of fear and anarchy in the state.

On the issue of health, Nadda said that the Trinamool Congress government prevented the implementation of central schemes like Ayushman Bharat, depriving millions of poor families of free medical care. He assured that once the BJP comes to power, public welfare schemes will be implemented on a priority basis.
