
South 24 Paragnas, 01 March (H.S.): A fire broke out in an elite residential complex in Maheshtala on Sunday, causing panic in the area. Residents initially tried to extinguish the flames. Two fire engines arrived at the scene immediately.
As per information, the fire broke out on the fourth floor of E-4 Tower in Eden City Housing. Firefighters arrived at the scene and began efforts to control the blaze. The police Police from Maheshtala police station also arrived at the scene.
According to eyewitnesses, thick black smoke was seen coming from the fourth floor of E-4 Tower. The walls of the tower where the fire broke out were covered in black spots. CESC employees also arrived at the scene. For safety reasons, the power supply to the tower was cut off.
Reportedly, a large portion of the flat in which the fire broke out was destroyed. However, the residents of the flat were out at the time of the fire, so no casualties have been reported.
