Dubai/Doha/Tehran/Washington/Tel Aviv, 01 March (H.S.): In retaliation for the joint Israel-US airstrikes that killed Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei and several family members, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched an aerial assault on Dubai, UAE, early Sunday, severely damaging a major section of Jebel Ali International Airport.

Viral social media videos show thick smoke billowing inside the airport as staff evacuate the premises. Doha, Qatar, also reported multiple powerful explosions around 7:30 AM local time.CNN reports continuous heavy blasts rocked Dubai, with no confirmed casualties yet, though smoke engulfs the airport and surrounding areas. Officials stated debris from an aerial interception over Business Bay ignited a massive fire at the city's key commercial port, with firefighting efforts underway.

Meanwhile, Iranians took to the streets celebrating Khamenei's officially announced martyrdom. Following US President Donald Trump's calls for regime change, Iran warned of unprecedented attacks. Israel's National Emergency Service confirmed one death and 121 injuries from nationwide strikes Saturday, with additional reports of fatalities from Iranian missile strikes in Tel Aviv.
