Guwahati, 05 February (HS): The Assam Pradesh BJP on Thursday dismissed the allegations made by the Gaurav Gogoi-led Assam Pradesh Congress Committee against Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, terming them a “comedy show.” Addressing a press conference at the BJP state headquarters, party spokesperson Kamal Kumar Medhi said Gogoi was the “most fearful politician” in Assam, claiming he was rattled after the Chief Minister announced that details of Gogoi’s alleged Pakistan links would be made public on February 8. Medhi accused the Congress of making baseless allegations to malign the Chief Minister, asserting that under Dr Sarma’s leadership, transparent governance and corruption-free service delivery have earned public trust and that the people of Assam would reject what he called the Congress’ political farce.----------
