
Chennai, 05 February (H.S.) : Well known actress and dubbing artiste Raveena Ravi, who has earned acclaim for her roles in films such as LOVE TODAY and MAAMANNAN, has publicly requested help from authorities to deal with persistent harassment. The actress revealed that she, along with her family and friends, has been targeted by a stalker for the past three years.
Despite previously filing police complaints and issuing warnings, she stated that the situation has not improved, prompting her to bring the matter to light through her social media platforms. Raveena identified the individuals as a person named Sabarish and his twin brother, alleging that they have been using abusive language in comments and messages while creating fabricated stories about her.
According to her statement, the individuals operate numerous social media accounts to stalk not only her but also other female actors by making false claims regarding fixed marriages and past meetings. Raveena Ravi tagged the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, MK Stalin, and various law enforcement agencies including the TN Police and TN Cyber Crime to seek immediate intervention.
She expressed her hope that the authorities would act swiftly to maintain Chennai's reputation as a safe city for women. The actress urged her followers to block and report the suspicious profiles and warned others to remain alert if they receive messages from these individuals.
She also apologized to her friends and family for the ordeal they have faced due to this prolonged harassment.
