Nagpur, 25 Feb

(HS): President of India Droupadi Murmu launched the state-wide campaign ‘Golden

Era of Maharashtra through Unity and Trust, organised by Brahmakumaris in

Nagpur On Wednesday evening.

Addressing the

gathering, Murmu said “we have to discard negativity and follow positivity to

achieve the goal of the developed nation by 2047. The campaign aims to promote

trust, communal harmony, and respect for human values across the state.

Brahmakumaris planned

the campaign with eight guiding principles including addiction-free society,

sustainable lifestyle, cleanliness, strengthening civic responsibilities,

readiness for humanitarian service, Value-based education, disciplined and

serene life through yoga and working towards green and sustainable environment in

Maharashtra.

Murmu said, without

de-addiction and sense of responsibility towards the society, development in

the true sense is not possible.

Governor Acharya Devavrat, Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, senior

Brahmakumaris functionaries were present.

earlier Murmu was received by Governor Devavrat, Revenie Minister Bawankule and others at the Nagpur Airport.
