Nagpur, 24 Feb

(HS): Another tutor and his accomplice in the Class-XII paper leakage case in

Nagpur have been arrested. Leakage of Chemistry and Physics paper was recently detected

at an examination centre.

Those arrested

have been identified as Mustafa Khan Munir Khan (42) and Junaid Mohammad Abdul

Javed (20). The number of accused in the case has gone up to four. Mustafa and

Junaid have been remanded police custody till Thursday.

Mustafa conducts

a coaching centre ‘Excellence Academy’ in Mominpura area of Nagpur, while

Junaid works under him.

The question

papers and answers were being circulated through a WhatsApp group.

At St Ursula

School and Junior College examination centre, a teacher noticed two girls frequently

visiting washroom and returning after 10 to 15 minutes. Upon frisking the

students were found to have mobile phones with them, used for copying.

Investigation into

the case was started after the Regional Board conducting the examination

initiated action. Further investigation was in progress to detect involvement

of more persons.
