New Delhi, 16 February (H.S.): The Central Government will convene a regional workshop on the Tele-Law (remote legal advisory service) programme under the DISHA scheme in Srinagar on February 17, aiming to leverage technology for affordable, accessible justice delivery to underserved populations.

Scheduled for the afternoon at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC), the event—part of the DISHA initiative—seeks to enhance legal awareness and streamline judicial access through digital platforms.

High-Profile Attendance, Key Highlights

Union Minister of State for Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal, Jammu & Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, and High Court Chief Justice Arun Palli will headline the gathering for approximately 800 participants, featuring dedicated sessions showcasing Tele-Law implementations across J&K.
